We're a couple in a long-distance relationship. We know what it's like to go from seeing each other every day to only talking on calls, and what it's like to want to do something special for someone when the distance leaves you few options.

That's why we made this small project: for couples, families and friends who live far apart but want to make each other feel close, with a gift that's interactive, thoughtful and personal.

## What we make

Miles to Minutes makes one thing: a digital Christmas gift for someone who lives far away. You fill it with your photos, a few words, your voice and a letter. They open it on their phone with a private code and score points in classic mini-games; the points unlock your memories, one by one. At the end they read your letter.

## How it works

- You order it and your Gift Studio opens right away. You only need your email.
- You make it on your phone: who it is for (partner, family or friend), your photos, captions, voice notes and a letter. It saves as you go.
- You get their card with a private code, to print or send.
- They open it in any browser, play, and unwrap your memories one light at a time. You can follow their lights in your Studio.

## What we care about

- Privacy: a gift opens only with its code, photos are shown through links that expire within the hour, and gift pages stay out of search engines. See our [Privacy Policy](https://milestominutes.app/privacy/).
- Your memories are yours: you own what you upload, and you can delete a gift at any time from your Studio.
- Honesty: the example photos and the painted scenes on this site are AI-generated; your gift uses your own photos.
